We've put together a list of DMV restaurants offering Veterans Day discounts.
The men and women who put their lives on the line to defend this nation deserve more praise and gratitude, frankly, than we will ever be able to give them. It takes a really special kind of person to risk everything for love of country. November 11 was the day that the guns fell silent during World War I. At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918, an armistice was signed ending the "Great War." It has been a formal holiday since 1926. While nothing will ever truly come close to repaying American military veterans for their service, many restaurants are offering veterans discounts on Saturday as a small token of their appreciation. We've compiled a list of many of the larger restaurants. Unless otherwise mentioned, these discounts are available on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. If you know a restaurant offering a Veterans Day discount that isn't on this list, make sure you post it in the comment section at the bottom!
