The finest breweries of Northern Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic will be on-hand serving up some of the best suds around -- on Saturday, May 20!

Brambleton will once again be hosting its annual craft beer festival on May 20. Organizers have invited breweries located within an hour's drive of the festival grounds, including a few from West Virginia and Maryland. Upwards of 30 different breweries are expected to be represented, and with their entry, festival-goers will have the chance to taste two brews made by the 30 different brewing companies offering their products. In addition to local breweries, one guest brewery from Atlanta -- Sweet Water Brewing Company -- will be on-hand. Flying Dog of Frederick, Maryland, DuClaw Brewing of Baltimore, and Virginia’s own Lost Rhino round out the more well-known breweries that have committed thus far. There will also be food vending trucks and lots of fun, beer-related activities.
As for musical entertainment, Acoustic Soul -- the duo of Steven Shaffer and Bruce Turner -- will be bringing their brand of classic rock, blues, and soul covers from noon until 2:30 p.m., while blues rocker David Gerald will play from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Gerald is a Mississippi native who has put out studio albums and tours nationally, playing clubs and festivals across the country.  His music can be likened to the musical style and sound of Steve Ray Vaughan and is the ideal type of music to listen to while sipping down some tasty craft beers and munching on a hot food truck sandwich!
