The 6th annual FIT+ Outdoor Fitness Festival is THE place to be on Saturday, June 23, if you want to work out without paying a dime for a class. Free fitness? Sign me up!

If you hate the steep gym fees but still want to get that winter bod in shape for the beach, the energetic morning of fitness may just be the kick in the pants you need. Running from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the festival will let you and your buds work out in the streets of Harbor East in Baltimore.

From a serene yoga class to a heart-pounding boot camp session, you’ll be able to take your pick from an extensive schedule of classes throughout the morning. Do just one class or be the go-getter and try several -- whatever your style, just make sure to hydrate!

And like at any good festival, there’ll be plenty of entertainment and nourishment. A DJ will keep you in the workout mood, while food and drinks will be offered to keep up that stamina. And for those feeling lucky, there’ll be plenty of chances to win giveaways and raffle prizes.

Speaking of freebies -- if you RSVP to the event, you’ll receive free garage parking plus a FIT+ sweatband. And for the early birds, the first 100 RSVPs who check in at the Harbor East tent the morning of the event will receive a free FIT+ swag bag. If you’re feeling extra generous, for an extra $10 you can reserve your very own FIT+ t-Shirt. And the feel-good part is that 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the American Heart Association.

Classes are sponsored by The MAC, Under Armour Brand House, lululemon, and Charm City Run. So sign up and get to know Charm City a bit better, and your body will thank you as well!
