So many food trucks, so little time. That's why The Daily Meal set out to do what the rest of us only dream of -- compiling a list of the 101 best food trucks in the country!

Two food trucks in Denver landed on The Daily Meal's ultimate list of "101 Best Food Trucks in America." Without further ado, let's see which ones you need to try -- pronto.

Basic Kneads Pizza

[gallery type="rectangular" ids="37303,37300,37301"] Landing at No. 53, Basic Kneads Pizza earned their spot on the list because of their wood-fired pizza creations that "integrate local ingredients, experiment with toppings, and use the family dough recipe its team developed over the years." The company has one food truck and three more trailers, all of which produce their signature New York-style-ish pizzas with 100 percent organic Colorado-milled flour. Basic Kneads' menu offers 10 types of pizzas (10" for $9/$10, or 16" for $18/$20), and any can be made vegetarian, dairy-free, or gluten-free. Check out their website for more information, and follow their Facebook page for their location updates! Hand-tossed. Wood-fired. Yum.

Quiero Arepas

[gallery type="rectangular" ids="37294,37296,37295"] At No. 81 on the list, Quiero Arepas has become an award-winning staple within Denver's food truck fleet, having been around for eight years -- longer than most! Arepas, which originated in Venezuela and Colombia, are corn-based (read: gluten-free!) flatbread "sandwiches" of sorts. The Daily Meal is awarding Quiero Arepas based on the fact that they're "elevating this classic South American dish by stuffing their arepas with a revolving menu of fresh ingredients and fillings" and "many of the menu items are simply described as, 'absolute magic.'" In addition, Quiero Arepas states on their website that they choose "not to offer lids, straws, plates, side cups, utensils etc. to remain as close to zero waste as possible." To check out their current menu, click here. They have a permanent brick and mortar location at 3200 Pecos Street in Denver, but follow their Facebook page for the truck's schedule!
In order to come up with their list, The Daily Meal scoured food truck guides and city guides from around the country, then took to the internet to see what reviewers had to say about the favorites. It was painstaking, I'm sure, but somebody had to do it.
"Operating a successful food truck requires equal parts heart and culinary chops," The Daily Meal says. "Tight parking spaces, pesky traffic cops, cramped kitchens, and streets congested with competition are just a few of the obstacles a food truck must overcome. But every year, more and more food truck owners start the engine, driven by a passion for cooking and the desire to share their innovative culinary concepts with the world (or at least their neighborhood)."
