The Food Truck Carnival will have it all: food, music, carnival rides, midway games, boutique shopping, and a beer brewing battle!

If you're looking for something to do this weekend, the Food Truck Carnival might just be the eclectic springtime event of your dreams. A kids carnival, craft beer competition, and a food truck jamboree will combine with designer shopping and live music to pull off a three-day festival of epic proportions -- and attendance is FREE.

WHEN: Fri., May 11 -- 3 p.m.–10 p.m. | Sat., May 12 -- 11 a.m.–10 p.m. | Sun., May 13 -- 11 a.m.–4 p.m. WHERE: 11701 Community Center Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233 (southeast corner of 120th and I-25) HOW MUCH: FREE admission | $25/carnival passes or $3-$6/ride | Bring money for food, drinks, and shopping [gallery type="rectangular" ids="36934,36935"] Hosted by the City of Northglenn, the Food Truck Carnival will feature 20 carnival rides from Wright's Amusements, 14 different musical acts, and 10 retail trucks. And from BBQ all the way down to the ice cream, approximately 80 food trucks will circle the wagons to provide you with more eatery choices than you'll know what to do with!
The best addition to this year's event is the Brew Battle, which will take place on Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. For $20, you can taste 10 four-ounce samples from local craft breweries and vote on your favorites, as well as get one full pour and a souvenir beer cup. VIP tickets ($30) include an additional full pour and early admission (11 a.m.). Brewers will be giving out prizes, and the winning beer of the tasting contest will be awarded a trophy.
