Baltimore's New Year's Eve Spectacular | Baltimore's Inner Harbor | Baltimore, MD 21202

Time: 9 p.m.–12:30 a.m.

Hosted at the iconic Inner Harbor, this is the ultimate tradition by which all others compare. Enjoy live music by Thunderball and watch the harbor light up with a choreographed firework show set to music. Be sure to take a spin around the Pandora Ice Rink near the amphitheater, which will be open until 12:30 a.m. to coincide with the celebration. Charm City New Year's Eve Fireworks Cruise | 555 Light St, Baltimore, MD 21201

Time: 10 p.m.-1 a.m.

What if you wanted to watch the firework show on the water? Well, you can! Just step aboard the newest luxury yacht Raven and let the cruise whisk you onto the charming waters of the Chesapeake. Dine on light finger foods and drinks while a live DJ plays Top-40 hits. Experience the exciting countdown and champagne toast at midnight to usher in the new year. New Year's Eve Murder Mystery Trains | 13 Canal St, Cumberland, MD 21502

Time: 4-7 p.m., 10 p.m.-1 a.m.

One of the more unconventional and (dare we say, exciting events) Western Maryland Scenic Railroad is holding is a special New Year's Eve Murder Mystery train ride. The synopsis is "Murder Most Fowl" and is as follows: "The great TV chef Appletini is here for New Year’s Eve to film his latest show aboard the train. Will it be a success for all involved or will some end up as yesterday’s menu?"  For $150 per person, guests will enjoy the show as they dine on an entree of their choice, along with a champagne toast and dessert. Charm City Countdown: Midnight in Hollywood New Year's Eve Gala | Hilton BWI Airport Hotel, 1739 Nursery Rd., Linthicum Heights, MD

Time: 9 p.m.-2 a.m.

The Hilton BWI Airport Hotel is holding its 11th annual Charm City Countdown New Year's Gala, and this year it is Hollywood-themed. Come dressed in your finest red-carpet attire or as one of the stars for a night of glamour and fun! Take a walk on the red carpet and explore the 12 different entertainment rooms for exclusive food, drink, and live music.
