The Wizarding World Team and J.K. Rowling launched a "Harry Potter at Home" hub,  so Potter fans young and old could experience the wonder of Hogwarts while staying safe at home.

It's no secret at this point that the COVID-19 pandemic is wreaking havoc on everyone's daily lives. Schools are closed, parents are homeschooling, and teachers are having to switch their teaching methods over halfway through the school year. When things seem bleak, it's always nice to have some whimsy and magic to get lost in. For over 20 years people have been obsessed with Hogwarts and the entire Harry Potter world, and now we can dive into the wizarding world more than ever before with the Harry Potter at Home hub

This site offers a ton of fun adventures for witches and wizards of all ages. Quizzes, news, and features pieces on characters are only a few of the things that you will see when you land on the hub page. But one of the most fun things to do is create your wizarding world passport! You can take an interactive quiz and be placed in a house. Then, you can answer a series of questions and find out what type of wand would suit you—and even what your Patronus would be!

In addition to these neat little bits of the Harry Potter universe, J.K. Rowling has loosened copyright restrictions on the book series. This allows teachers to record and post videos of themselves reading the series to their students. As for anyone who may not be familiar with the series, there is no better time than now to get lost in the amazing world of Hogwarts. Check out the first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, for free on Audible.

The world could use a little magic right now, and J.K. Rowling is happy to deliver. What is your favorite Harry Potter movie or book? Let us know in the comments!
