You asked – we're delivering! Here's a list of our favorite Colorado Springs restaurants that were featured on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives".

When we published our article on Denver restaurants that have been featured on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives", a bunch of you guys asked us where all the restaurants in Colorado Springs were! Well, we thought they were so fantastic that they deserved their own list. Here are our favorite Colorado Springs restaurants that have been featured on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives".

Front Range Barbeque

[gallery size="large" ids="12785,12784,12786"] Address: 2330 W Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 This is about your best source for some real local BBQ. There's no cookie cutter menu, and there really isn't a more legit smokehouse in Colorado. The home-style and traditional BBQ you'll find here will change the way you view BBQ. They use natural and organic ingredients, and have a fantastic selection of micro-brews. Try out the Southern Pork Nachos – they'll blow you away!

Skirted Heifer

[gallery size="large" ids="12787,12788,12789"] Address: 204 N Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 This family-run, eco-friendly business knows how to do burgers right. They focus on supporting local farmers for both meat and produce. Homemade burger buns and freshly grown fries complete the experience here. The folks here also have fantastic frozen custard that you have to try if you're visiting. Give the Hangeover burger a try! I've never liked eggs and bacon as much as I do on this burger.

Mountain Shadows

[gallery size="large" ids="12790,12791,12792"] Address: 2223 W Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 Like many of the Colorado Springs restaurants featured on the show, Mountain Shadow was established and is run by a family. They serve up a variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch foods, and once you come in once you'll be eager to come back! The portions are generous, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is fantastic. Try one of their giant cinnamon rolls, but be warned – they're GIANT!

Spice Island Grill

[gallery size="large" ids="12793,12794,12795"] Address: 10 N Sierra Madre Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 If you're looking for an island getaway, this Jamaican-based restaurant is quite possibly the closest you can get without leaving Colorado. This casual diner brings the flavors of the islands right here to our land-locked state and sticks close to the traditional methods. We highly recommend the jerk chicken here, because it just seems wrong to go to a Jamaican restaurant and not eat the jerk chicken! The rum cake is also fantastic.

Piglatin Food Truck

[gallery size="large" ids="12796,12797,12798"] Address: 225 N Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 Who doesn't love food trucks? For some reason, the food from the side of a truck just tastes different. These guys serve up the best pig-based meals around. Their food has a touch of Cuban flavor, and they aren't afraid to experiment with crazy ingredients and flavors. Try the Piglatin Plate – it's their most well-known dish for a reason!

Paravicini's Italian Bistro

[gallery size="large" ids="12799,12800,12801"] Address: 2802 W Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 This is a great classic Italian bistro with good food and a friendly atmosphere. They've won several awards for excellence, and it's easy to see why. The family-style menu is very traditional, and the full wine and drink menu means you'll never run out of pairing options. You can't go wrong with any of the traditional Italian favorites here, but we personally recommend the Shrimp Scampi Risotto!

Rasta Pasta

[gallery size="large" ids="12802,12803,12804"] Address: 405 N Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 This pasta place has some fantastic Caribbean flavors for you to enjoy. The ingredients are bold and the flavors are traditional, and the fusion of Caribbean and Italian cuisine will leave you craving more. We recommend the Tortellini Jamaican Mon – it's the prefect thing to eat while you relax on the patio. Have you been to any of these spots? Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
