"Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" is a fantastic way to find new places to eat in your hometown! Here are our favorite Denver restaurants they've featured.

For anyone who doesn't know what "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" is, allow me to catch you up. The show usually has a unifying theme for each episode, such as burgers or comfort food. They focus on small, independent eateries and the chosen restaurants usually feature fresh ingredients, home-style recipes, and gourmet approaches to non-gourmet food. Check out the best Colorado restaurants that have been featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives".

The Bagel Deli

[gallery size="large" ids="12115,12114,12116"] Address: 6439 E. Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80222 Once you've been here, you'll be looking for any excuse to come back! The matzah ball soup is perfect for a cold winter day, and while it's not for everyone, their liver is some of the best around! Their latkes also have fantastic flavor, so be sure to get some. The staff is really friendly and knowledgable, so don't be shy about asking any questions you have.

Denver Biscuit Company

[gallery size="large" ids="12118,12119,12120"] Address: 3237 E. Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80206 What started as a food truck and supplementary kitchen has become one of the best restaurants in Denver; it's really no surprise that the Denver Biscuit Company was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives". You can find this great spot in the back of the owner's bar, The Atomic Cowboy. The highlight here is obviously the big, flakey, buttery biscuits, but I highly recommend the Dahlia sandwich!

Steuben's

[gallery size="large" ids="12122,12123,12124"] Address: 523 E. 17th Avenue, Denver, CO 80203 Steuben's is the epitome of comfort food here in Denver. The cocktails are amazing, the fried chicken is succulent, and the chicken and waffles are cooked to perfection. Give the smothered fries a try as well - you won't regret it!

Biju's Little Curry Shop

[gallery size="large" ids="12125,12126,12127"] Address: 1441 26th Street, Denver, CO 80205 This is the best stop in Denver for delicious, authentic Indian food. Huge portions and intense flavor will keep you coming back again and again. As an added bonus, the dishes are all made right in front of you so you can pick and choose what goes into your plate. This really is a great place to bring someone who's never tried Indian food before!

Hops and Pie

[gallery size="large" ids="12128,12129,12130"] Address: 3920 Tennyson Street, Denver, CO 80212 "Diners, Drive-Ins & Drives" has a habit of finding pizza places with unique toppings, and this joint is no exception!
