The post has generated over 22 million views on Twitter.
Julian Bass is a 20-year-old Georgia State University theater student who has been posting videos to TikTok for some time. But, he decided to share his work on Twitter, and the results have been nothing short of amazing.
Since then, Bass has posted a now-viral video on Twitter on July 2, with a request to Disney:
if y’all can retweet this enough times that Disney calls, that’d be greatly appreciated pic.twitter.com/GrKlIRxg3J

The video shows him transforming through visual effects into a montage of favorite superheroes and characters.
The post has generated over 22 million views on Twitter and gained the attention of some rather large names. Actors Zach Braff, Josh Gad, and Mark Hamill, filmmaker James Gunn, and Spiderman Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse director Peter Ramsey all responded to the tweet.
Disney did seem to get the message because Executive Chairman Bob Iger himself took note, replying personally to the tweet.
The world’s gonna know your name!!!

Bass got a chance to appear on Good Morning America to share his story and give fans a new video he made for the show. Bass has been making videos for about nine years, starting with LEGO stop motion when he was a young teenager. Growing up in suburban Atlanta, he began working on VFX in high school, even winning some recognition and awards nationally and in film festivals for his early videos.

Bass has also worked professionally as a motion designer and editor while he finishes school, but found he got more income and opportunity from making online videos.
The young filmmaker says he has heard from several people and companies, including Marvel, Sony, and, of course, Disney. There's a growing movement online with over 8 million people pushing for him to become the new Miles Morales as he bears an uncanny resemblance to the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse character.
