Summer is upon us, but not for long. As the new "Game of Thrones" trailer so aptly reminds us, winter will soon be here.

It may be one of the hottest days of the year so far, but I'm still feeling a bit of a chill in the air. Without further ado, here is the second "Game of Thrones" trailer for the upcoming, long-awaited Season 7, premiering on HBO on July 16: [embed]https://youtu.be/1Mlhnt0jMlg[/embed] The two-minute-long trailer is jam-packed with battle sequences, some creepy narration a la Little Finger, multiple menacing shots of Daenerys Targaryen's ever-growing dragons, a fleet of ships descending upon King's Landing, and much, much more.
For centuries our families fought together against their common enemy, despite their differences -- together,” Jon Snow says, as scenes featuring Daenerys, Tyrion Lannister, and Theon Greyjoy flit past. “We need to do the same if we’re going to survive. Because the enemy is real. It's always been real.”
HBO released the first trailer for Season 7 back in May. Need a reminder of what that one included? You can watch it here! What do you think? What does it all mean? Are you excited for Season 7 to begin? Let's get the conversation started!

A synesthete who sees the world in vivid color, Joy is all about soaking up life experiences -- and then translating those experiences into words. Freckle-faced and coffee-fueled, Joy is on a personal quest to visit all 50 states in her lifetime (40 down!), see all the Broadway musicals, and eat all the tacos. For fun, she plays the piano, diagrams sentences, and solves true crime stories from her couch, along with her husband of 20 years and their teenage daughter.
