Events on Friday, November 26

32nd Annual Festival of Trees (Virtual) | Maryland State Fairgrounds | Lutherville-Timonium, MD | Friday-Sunday

The Kennedy Krieger Institute's annual benefit goes virtual this year, but with no less the fun! Shop from online vendors, browse a silent auction, jam to live music, and tune in to a special appearance by Santa Claus and Disney princesses all weekend. There'll also be a toy drive at the Maryland State Fairgrounds letting you show your support in-person, too. Winterfest of Lights | Northside Park | 200 125th St | Ocean City, MD | Friday-Sunday

Affordable and family-friendly, this Ocean City attraction is a must for the holidays! From 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., stroll through an array of joyful light installations and festive entertainment, only at Northside Park. There'll be hot chocolate, visits with Santa, and a towering 50-foot Christmas tree you'll marvel at all night long. Adult admission is $5 and FREE for kids under 12. The Polar Express Train Ride | B&O Railroad Museum | Baltimore, MD | Friday-Sunday

A yuletide classic is coming to life, thanks to the B&O Railroad Museum! You and your loved ones can hop aboard The Polar Express for a thrilling experience straight out of the book--singing chefs, a visit with Santa Claus--and a hot chocolate kit and silver bell you'll get to take with you after your journey. Guests can gather at CityCenter for a dazzling lighting ceremony, followed by face-painting, sweet treats, and a rocking performance by dance group The Revels. Holiday Lights on the Farm | Frying Pan Farm Park | Herndon, VA | Saturday-Sunday

Make the trek to Herndon for a spectacular light display at Frying Pan Farm Park. Visitors can bask in the warming glow of holiday scenes as they tour the farm's grounds, visit the farm animals, and find joy in the simple pleasures of the season.
