Rockies baseball, Chef and Brew 2019, a film festival, a fancy champagne party, and lots of live music are on the calendar for this week in Denver.
This week has a little bit of everything going on in the Mile High City with lots of concerts and events to keep your week moving. From sports to beers, film fests and workshops to better yourself, Denver has no shortage of places to get out to this week, August 26-29.

Check out the sounds of the Colorado Symphony as they play with One Republic out at the Red Rocks. A great night of music under the stars!

An afternoon of baseball is just the way to start the week. If you can’t make this one, don’t worry, 'cause the Rockies host the Boston Red Sox for two nights August 27 and 28, and the Pittsburgh Pirates on August 29.
Tuesday, August 27
When: August 27, 6 p.m.
Where: Filmore Auditorium, Denver
Price: $45-$200 – This is a 16 and older show
The California based rock band will hit the stage at the Filmore for this one-night event. The Grammy-nominated group has been rocking out for over 20 years and is in the Mile High City as part of their most recent tour.

This workshop is all about finding and owning our purpose, and understanding that purpose is about more than just “what” you do.

One of Denver’s best food and beer pairing events and competitions is back for another year at Exdo Event Center. There will be over 20 craft brewers and chefs offering up samples of food and brews. Attendees will get to vote on their favorites to win the night’s big award.

Where: Elway’s Cherry Creek
Get yourself all dressed up and head out for this evening of wines and signature appetizers hosted by Elway’s Sommelier Chris Cass and Assistant Sommelier Kelly Cleary. There will be over 50 white wines from around the world served, including champagne and sparkling white wines.
Thursday, August 29
When: August 29, 6–10 p.m.
Where: Lakeside Amusement Park
Price: $40.00 ($35 for DFS members)
What better way to send summer out and welcome in fall than this night of cinematic fun that takes over Lakeside Amusement Park for the evening. Enjoy an open bar, unlimited rides, and 240 minutes of film screenings. Please arrive 15 minutes before showtime to ensure you get a seat; there is no late seating permitted. Proceeds will benefit the Denver Film Society.

Yes, folks, it is time for football, and you can catch a preseason game at Mile High Stadium for less than $20. A great way to get revved up for the upcoming season and see what the Broncos are looking like this year!

The Grammy-winning rock band from California will be in Denver to play at one of the city’s newest and hottest venues. The band is on a world tour right now and will be in Colorado for this show, then head up to Aspen for the weekend to JAS Aspen Snowmass for more music and fun.
