The American Theater | Friday

Winter Whimsy

Historic Hampton Carousel | Friday

Get into the holiday spirit by taking a ride on the historic Hampton Carousel which will be decked out in holiday decorations and playing organ-type music. They will also be giving away free candy canes for the perfect holiday treat! Admission is free, and rides on the carousel are $1 each! Find out more here!

Miracle of Christmas 

Metro Richmond Zoo | Saturday

Come celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and see a reenactment of the events that occurred on that day. The production will include animals from the zoo and local actors in front of an age-appropriate background. Once the 20-minute production concludes, performers from the local community will sing holiday songs for guests. The event is free and open to the public—see more here!

The Mystery of Edwin Drood

Swift Mill Creek Theater | Friday and Saturday

Solve a whodunit mystery play based on Charles Dickens' unfinished novel. Guests will solve a series of clues, ultimately leading to the identity of the murderer. Tickets are $42 each with an additional $19.95 for the buffet. Check it out on Visit Richmond's website!

Whim Wonderland 

7 W. Broad Street | Ongoing

Immerse your kids in a one-of-a-kind mini winter wonderland this holiday season. The Whim Wonderland is offering an ongoing holiday experience filled with Christmas activities including building a snowman, throwing snowballs, and building gingerbread houses.
