Christmas is just a week away, and there's still so much to do! To prepare, we've rounded up some of the DMV's best events, from Zoo Lights at The Maryland Zoo to Del Ray Artisans' annual craft fair, to get you that last-minute boost of holiday cheer!

Annmarie Garden in Lights | AnnMarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center | 13470 Dowell Rd | Solomons, MD | Ongoing

Annmarie Garden is already stunning, but have you seen it lit up? Bundle up outside for a sparkling wonderland of light displays, along with food and live entertainment to keep you toasty warm. While you're there, browse their new Holiday Market or grab a beverage from Hardesty Haven Holiday Cafe! Admission is free for museum members and $10-$12 for non-members. Purchase your tickets here!

Wolf Trap Holiday Sing-A-Long From Home | The Barns at Wolf Trap | Saturday

Wolf Trap's beloved musical event gets a digital makeover this year! From your computer screen, watch the "President's Own" United States Marine Band and regional singers perform the holiday standards you know and love. Make it extra festive at home with hot chocolate and gingerbread--just don't forget to sing along! The stream starts at 4 p.m. and admission is free. Find out more about it here!

Blue Ridge Chorale Virtual Christmas Concert | Culpeper, VA | Saturday-Sunday

Need to put some pep in your step? Tune in for a virtual concert by the Blue Ridge Chorale of Culpeper. Between 2-4 p.m., 30 vocalists at the Culpeper Baptist Church will sing the season's beloved songs that you can watch in the comfort of your own home. There's no admission cost, but the choir suggests making a $10 donation. Check it out here!

Zoo Lights | The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore | 1 Safari Place | Baltimore, MD | Ongoing

It's Zoo Lights, baby! Drive or walk through The Maryland Zoo's grounds for a safari-themed light extravaganza. Powered by 100,000 LED lights, it's a sight you're not going to forget! Proceeds benefit the zoo's conservation mission, which is always a plus in our book. Drive-thru runs Friday and Sundays and costs $45 per car. Get the details here!

A Virtual Winter Solstice Celebration | DC Metro Area | Friday

The winter season is here, and the Smithsonian is hosting a live-stream event to celebrate. Enjoy a lineup of cold-weather entertainment, including cocktail demos, live music, trivia, and more to usher in the season. Stay cozy at the computer and celebrate in style! The stream runs from 7:30-11 p.m. and general admission is $15. Reserve your spot here!

Del Ray Artisans 25th Annual Holiday Market | Del Ray Artisans Gallery | 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue | Alexandria, VA | Friday-Sunday

Every year, this funky art gallery transforms into a holiday market, and we are so here for it! Score unique treasures like hand-crafted pottery, photography, jewelry, and other awe-inducing pieces. Winterfest of Lights 2020 | 125th St, Northside | Ocean City, MD | Ongoing

Ocean City's holiday bonanza has returned! Taking place Wednesday through Sunday, stroll through Northside Park for breath-taking light displays as well as festive entertainment like photo ops with Santa and hot cocoa. Their 50-foot Christmas tree is worth the price of admission alone! Tickets are $5 per person (kids under 11 are free!) Check it out here!

D.C.'s Downtown Holiday Market | F Street between 7th & 9th Streets | Washington, D.C. | Ongoing

If you want to shop small for the holidays, this is the place! Through December 23, browse a ton of local vendors, including Black-owned and minority-owned, specializing in everything from clothing to watercolor art. Visitors can also warm up with food and drink options for sale. It's the perfect outing for social-distanced fun! The outdoor market runs from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.  Find out more here!

Fairmont's Festive Tea To-Go | Hotel Fairmont Washington, D.C. Georgetown | 2401 M St NW | Washington, D.C. | Friday-Sunday

Love tea time? Bring the experience home with the help of Hotel Fairmont. Lights on the Bay | Sandy Point State Park | 1100 E College Pkwy | Annapolis, MD | Ongoing

A cherished family tradition, Lights on the Bay is back in business! In just two miles, families can experience 65 enchanting light installations across the Chesapeake Bay. For $5 extra, kick things up a notch with special 3-D glasses! This year's celebration honors the 100th anniversary of the SPCA, so visitors are in for a real treat. Admission is $20 per car.
