The first weekend of 2020 is officially here, and we're ready to start things off right! Along with post-holiday fun like winter villages, there's also live bands, dance parties, and an epic scavenger hunt across all of D.C.'s Smithsonian museums. Who's ready?

Get the Led Out: A Celebration of the Mighty Zep

Scavenger Hunt of the Smithsonian

Ice and Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Run

No Scrubs: '90s Dance Party

Grab your flannel and Docs and party like it's 1999! DJs Will Eastman and Ozker will bring the hits of the decade in a kaleidoscopic DJ set spanning from grunge to rap. This is the last weekend to experience holiday fun at Upperco Yuletide Village! Family and friends can enjoy twinkling light displays, special appearances from Santa, and hot chocolate at the Train Garden. This is its LAST weekend until next year—you won't want to miss it! Boat House Row

Yacht Rock is all the rage right now, and Boat House Row will bring all the chill vibes this Friday at The Hamilton Live. Dance Fitness

The new year is all about trying new things, and these dance classes at the Kennedy Center are just what the doctor ordered! Step outside your comfort zone every first Saturday of the month with a variety of dances and instructors to guide the way. BSO Presents Movie with Orchestra: Amadeus

Winner of the coveted Best Picture award at The Oscars, Amadeus is full of memorable characters and music.
