Juniors: The Roaring Twenties | Tudor Place Historic House & Garden | Washington, DC | Friday

Junior Girl Scouts, join Tudor Place for a full hour of girl power! From 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., kids will learn about the lives of women during the 1920s and design their own character, using creativity to bring them to life (how fun is that?) The Hamilton Live Presents: The 19th Street Band | The Hamilton Live | Washington, DC | Friday & Saturday

Ready to rock? The 19th Street Band is playing at The Hamilton Live! Jam with the folk group over two shows either in person at the venue or via live stream; venue is limiting capacity and implementing safety guidelines for all live shows. Plus, all ages are welcome! Drive-In Movies | Alexandria Drive-In Theatre | Alexandria, VA | Friday & Saturday

Experience movie magic at the Alexandria Drive-In Theatre! For $40 per vehicle, catch screenings every weekend through the summer months. There'll also be food trucks on hand for concessions. This week's picks:

  • Friday - "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial"
  • Saturday - "Bon Jovi Concert" as part of their Encore Drive-In Nights series.

2021 Maryland Film Festival (Virtual) | Parkway Theatre | Baltimore, MD | Friday-Sunday

Brought to you by the Parkway Theatre, Maryland's biggest movie event makes a virtual return! Tune in all weekend for a variety of films, from shorts and indie flicks to family-friendly movies, with some very special guests along the way (John Waters' annual film screening is a must). It ain't summer without the Marley Station Carnival! Through Memorial Day weekend, thrill-seekers can enjoy amusement park rides, novelty games, deep-fried foods, and more at the Marley Station Mall. All weekend, relax at Linganore Winecellars with a rotating lineup of local food trucks and live musicians. This weekend's itinerary includes tunes from Chasing Autumn and Bob Keel, and menus from Grilled Cheese Please, Craving Potato Factory, and more. KidsFest & Festival of Kites Spring Fair | City of Manassas Museum | Manassas, VA | Saturday

FREE event! Manassas is hosting the city's biggest kid-friendly event!
