It's time for zombie crawls, haunted mansions, and costume balls!
One of the biggest disappointments of Halloween this year, aside from having to buy our own candy, is that it falls on a Thursday and not a Friday. So close! However, Denver is in the full swing of the Halloween celebrations and this weekend, the city has a jam-packed schedule full of Halloween and autumn-themed events. From witches ball to a harvest festival, here are 11 fun things to do in Denver this weekend.
Friday, October 25
When: October 25, 8–11 p.m.
Where: Spectra Art Space, Denver
Spectra Art Space presents a night of comedy and laughter in the form of Space Case Comedy. The event features an evening of comedy with stand-up comedians Aiden Main, Gabby Gutierrez-Rees, Joel Vernon, Miljen Ajinovic, and Evan Johnson. Enjoy a night of laughter and admire or even purchase the gallery's art.
When: October 25, 6–10 p.m.
Where: Denver Art Museum
At the end of the month, the Denver Art Museum celebrates the last Friday with Untitled Final Friday. For the price of the museum's admission, you can witness the creative processes of artist Laury Lynnxe Murphy along the theme of in/visible. The event draws inspiration from the current exhibitions at the museum, The Light Show and the latest Claude Monet: The Truth of Nature.

Where: Ironton Distillery & Crafthouse
Ironton Distillery presents the work of mural artist DINKC during the DINKC Closing Show. Enjoy a flight of the distillery's whiskey while admiring the drawings, canvas pieces, and other work of the muralist. DINKC merchandise will also be available at the event.

Where: Colorado Convention Center
Fans of winter sports should mark this event on their calendars. The three-day expo features a variety of live exhibits, vendors, and plenty of giveaways you can participate in throughout the weekend.
Saturday, October 26

Where: Denver Zoo
The Denver Zoo is dressing up for the spooky season with Boo at the Zoo. The event features trick-or-treat stations for all children who come dressed up with their costumes. Admire the animals at the zoo, big and small, while collecting some delicious candy. There will be other family-oriented events, like character meet-and-greets and creepy crawly animal demos. Where: Highland Masonic Center, Denver
Take out your hats and brooms for a spin at the 28th Annual Witches Ball. The event presents a pagan masquerade ball with live music and a midnight Samhain Ritual. Enjoy a night of dancing, primal roots trance dancing, psychics, food, and more.
When: October 26, 5:30–11:59 p.m.
Where: Nocturne, Denver
Nocturne presents a night where the roaring '20s and Halloween horror get mixed together. The 5th Annual Great Gatsby Zombie Ball is a unique costume experience where people come dressed in their best flapper fashion with zombified makeup. The event features a night of elegance and ghoulish vibes, including a three-course voodoo menu, vintage jazz, and themed cocktails included with tickets.

Where: Grant-Humphreys Mansion, Denver
If you're a Halloween fanatic, why not celebrate it this year in an actual haunted mansion? The haunted part is debatable, but the mansion part is true. The Grant-Humphreys Mansion is celebrating its 4th Annual Haunted Mansion Party with live music from three local DJs on each floor of the mansion, making it three parties in one. Indulge in free drinks and food all night while you get your thriller on for Halloween.
Sunday, October 27
When: October 27, 1–6 p.m.
The 3rd Annual Adult Trick-or-Treating features a night of candy and cocktails. People are encouraged to dress up and costume, but it's not required. With ticket purchase, you receive a trick-or-treating bag and a punch card to use for tasters in all 14 participating locations.
When: October 27, 11 a.m.
Where: Forage, Denver
Ease into Sunday morning by attending the grand opening of Forage. The new plant boutique is celebrating with CBD beverages, treats, and special gifts for the first 10 people who come to the opening. Discover the new hip plant store in the neighborhood and even take some plant babies home.

The market showcases a variety of unique handcrafted and salvaged goods. Wander around the charming Pearl Street and shop for antiques and collectibles that will go perfectly with your fall decor.

Where: Highlands Square
Highlands Square hosts a festive family event with the Highlands Harvest Festival. The event encourages visitors to dress up in costumes and bring their kids trick-or-treating up and down the shops of 32nd Avenue. There will also be a beer garden, a kids' zone, live music, and a costume contest.
