Christmas is here! Get ready for food, fun and festivities.

Denver continues to provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy the holiday spirit even after Christmas on Friday, including lights displays and classic Christmas music. In addition, this weekend brings events focused on Kwanzaa, a Nuggets game, and food and festivities to celebrate all weekend long.

Boulderado Christmas Dinner

Holiday Festival 2020

Hosted by CU Presents, this decades-old holiday festival brings together faculty and students from across the College of Music to perform seasonal favorites and other classic selections recorded throughout the fall and streamed to homes for the first time ever.

Virtual Stage – A Colorado Christmas

This performance fills Boettcher Concert Hall with festive seasonal favorites, including 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, narrated from stage by beloved Denver vocalist Devin DeSantis. The program features the Colorado Symphony, Colorado Symphony Chorus, and Colorado Children's Chorale performing traditional Christmas carols, favorite winter tunes, and even some newly arranged surprises.

Black in Denver

Black in Denver is a photographic exhibition of work by photographer Narkita Gold, taking over the Arvada Center's Upper Gallery this winter. Curated at the Arvada Center from Gold's body of portrait work, Black in Denver takes a critical look at identity.

Umoja (Unity)! Celebrate Kwanzaa

Kwanzaa is a celebration that honors the African first fruits harvest tradition. Take part in a festive cross-cultural virtual experience hosted by Denver Public Library that features Jawana Norris who will provide an introduction to Kwanzaa and a special performance by members of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance.

Denver Holiday Scavenger Hunt
