This weekend, more than 275 artists will display their artwork at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk Art Show. Presented by PNC Bank and produced by the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), the Boardwalk Art Show will feature 13 fine art and contemporary craft mediums, great food, and live entertainment. The best part? General admission is free. 

Logstradamus Festival of Vibes

Get your friends and hit the Virginia Beach Oceanfront to celebrate the city’s seventh annual Logstradamus Festival of Vibes. Eat, drink, and make Insta-worthy memories as you watch surfers compete in a “semi-formal, single-fin surf contest” for a golden tricycle. (No, we’re not kidding.) This year the festival lineup will include local and regional talent with Sunny & GabeSnake Mountain RevivalThe Spacebomb Beach Band (feat. Matthew E. White), and DJ Lord Thomas.

Surprise the family with an air show! On Saturday, June 16, the Military Aviation Museum is holding its eighth installment of The Flying Proms Symphony Air Show. The first half of the show will feature aerial displays from the museum’s collection of historical aircraft, including the DeHavilland Mosquito. Gates open at 3 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m. (There’ll also be a fireworks finale provided by Zambelli Fireworks!)
