The Denver show is one of only seven dates currently scheduled for the comedy tour.
In a rare appearance in Colorado, Adam Sandler will bring his comedic stylings to the Bellco Theater on Feb. 5. The 100% Fresher Tour follows on the heels of Sandler's 100% Fresh special on Netflix, which was well-received by critics and audiences. According to Rotten Tomatoes, it rated 88% fresh.
"Critics Consensus: An energetic Sandler jumps back into the spotlight with fresh songs, stories, and spoofs in Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh, a wonderful return to form for a beloved comedian," the review site says.
USA Today critic Kelly Lawler says of the special, "Most importantly, Sandler is clearly having fun. His spirit flows out of the special, and it reminds you of the Sandler we all used to love."
The 100% Fresher show will feature Sandler's stand-up comedy and popular songs, and it is based, in part, on the Netflix special. The tour also promises lots of additional new material.
"The 52-year-old will indulge audiences with classic takes on the material as well as new performances, songs, tributes and on the 100% Fresher Tour, he'll be inviting a special guest for a night of laughter and touching moments," says tour ticket-seller AXS.
And who is the special guest? No one knows yet. Could it be his buddy and frequent co-star David Spade? You'll just have to get your tickets and find out!
Denver is one of only seven stops on the tour, with Sandler also going to Salt Lake, Louisville, Cleveland, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, and Orlando.
