WHERE: Madame Tussauds Wax Museum | 1001 F Street NW in Washington, D.C.
TICKETS: $38, available to purchase online here

How does it work?

At 6:30 p.m., all players will be divided up into teams. If you came with friends, make sure the organizer knows so that you're not split up. Everyone will have a list of items to collect and checkpoints to get to before time runs out.

Gameplay will involve interacting with historical figures as well as taking photos, so make sure your phone is charged! You may need it to look up bits of trivia as well.

At the end of the night, the team with the most points will be declared the winners. First prize for this scavenger hunt is free entry into the upcoming black-tie gala at the Italian Embassy!

Know before you go

  • After the event, players can go on for an impromptu after-party at a nearby D.C. bar or nightspot.
  • Dress is smart casual, especially if you plan to go to the after-party.
  • There is metered street parking near the museum, or you can use a parking app to reserve a nearby garage spot.
  • The closest Metro stop is Metro Center Station.
