The Charm City Bluegrass Festival is kicking off the summer in Baltimore's Druid Hill Park on Friday and Saturday, April 27–28.For the sixth year in a row, Charm City Bluegrass Festival will be taking over Druid Hill Park for two days of fun. The Baltimore Magazine and International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) award-winning festival returns to Baltimore for the first two-day iteration of the festival (it's previously been a one-day event), showcasing local and national acts on two stages. There's no better way to kick off the summer than with Charm City Bluegrass. The hometown show is a fan favorite, and since it caters to all ages, a perfect place to bring the entire family. Tickets can be purchased for single days or you can get a two-day pass for the full weekend. Or, if you'd like a free ticket and to get involved with the Charm City Bluegrass Festival, you can volunteer by working a four-hour shift during the event. It's also kid-friendly, with children under 10 years old getting in for free. This year's festival will host topnotch acts such as The Devil Makes Three, The Travelin' McCourys, and Billy Strings. And true to the Charm City spirit, the line up features local acts Haint Blue, The High and Wides, and the 19th Street Band. And for the folks who want to keep the fun going after the festival, Charm City Bluegrass Festival has partnered with a local venue, the 8x10, to offer late night shows after the festival concludes each night. Charm City Bluegrass Festival is located by the Baltimore Zoo in Baltimore's Druid Hill Park. There's plenty of room to sprawl out in a chair or blanket. There will be crafts, art, and food vendors as well as Baltimore's own Union Craft Brewing, and a full-service bar serving drinks. Have you ever been to Charm City Bluegrass Festival?
