A Brass Tap location, Towson's newest bar, will be a great place to enjoy brews, food, and much more. It opens on February 5!

Soon-to-be Air Force retiree and entrepreneur Mike Kettell has announced that on Monday, February 5, the newest Brass Tap franchise location in the Towson Town Center will open for business. The newest Brass Tap location will be Baltimore’s second. While the upscale bar will begin normal day-to-day operations on February 5, a Super Bowl party is planned on February 4 and will feature a buffet and craft beer special, which is open to everyone who arrives before the place gets too packed. [gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="7519,7520"] The Towson Brass Tap, like the midtown location, will serve up over 160 types of bottled and canned as well as craft beer on tap, which will be complemented by a large selection of fine wines and spirits. It will specialize in serving locally made beer and food, including Union Craft, Flying Dog, and Maryland Crab Cakes. The food menu will also include typical bar food items like burgers, salads, pretzels, sandwiches, and tacos.
The bar is likely become one of the best spots in town to catch a game, with its ability to house 140 people and more than 20 large, 65-inch high-definition flat screen TVs. Brass Tap is a national chain that now has more than 30 franchised locations in several states, including Florida, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, New York, South Carolina, and D.C.'s National Harbor. The new Towson Shopping Center location is on 825 Dulaney Valley Road. Click here for more info, menus, and happy hour specials. Will you be stopping by the new Brass Tap Bar in Towson when it opens?
