WHERE: 17th Street NW between P and R Streets | Washington, D.C,
WHEN: Saturday, August 24, 2019 | 12–6 p.m.

In lieu of a main stage, there will be wandering musicians performing all along the festival grounds. Keep an eye out for mariachis, soloists, and bands throughout the day.

“Unique to our 17th Street Festival,” said Bill McLeod, Executive Director, “is our six hour long ‘moving’ live music.  The Festival does not have a stage, but we have a variety of acoustic entertainers all day roving up and down the street, including an African band, flamenco dancer, mariachi band, a Chinese lion dancer, and a New Orleans jazz band. Our guests love the more intimate interaction with our musicians.”

For more information, including a list of the performers and when they will be appearing, visit the official 17th Street Festival website. You can also read the press release here. The easiest way to get there will be to take the Metro to the Dupont Circle Station and just follow the noise for a few blocks.
