Wear your cat sweaters with pride because you will be amongst your people.

Where can you hear some paws-itively amazing music of all genres, meet fellow cat lovers, and sit in on talks about animal health, behavior, and more? The Cable Center, that’s where! Come down to the Snowcats Cat Convention, a two-day celebration on December 7 and 8.

According to the event’s website, you are invited to come down to explore everything cats, art, and music.

"Snowcats Cat Convention & Festival is a musical celebration of all things Art & Cats. Debuted in 2018, Snowcats attracted over 5,000 cat lovers from the Rocky Meowntain Region to gather in two days of advocacy, adoption, celebration and more," says the website.

The cat-vention is a mix of fun feline activities, as well as presentations and information, like vet talks and vendors. So what can you expect? Comedy, a cat rapper performance, and live entertainment are just a few of the cat-tastic events. There are also workshops on senior cat health, indoor cat health, winter cat shelters, cat reiki, cat photography, the latest in adoption services, and becoming a catrepreneur.

The event will also feature on-site adoptions in the cat lounge, an interactive space that you can play with a variety of adoptable kitties as they look for their furever homes. In addition, get your stretch and zen on in the Cats + Yoga event, which will feature cats stretching alongside you.

And, don’t forget to stop by the Black Cat Bar + Bistro. β€œWe will have a full cash/card bar stocked with Meowmosa's and Pinot Meow's for you to enjoy - plus many more signature drinks,” says the event.
