Country star Dierks Bentley is bringing a little bluegrass to the mountains of Buena Vista with the inaugural Seven Peaks Music Festival.

With the upcoming release of his ninth studio album, The Mountain, along with the subsequent Mountain High Tour, you'd think that country star Dierks Bentley would have enough on his plate. But, apparently, that's not the case as he's just announced that he will be taking on hosting duties for the inaugural Seven Peaks Music Festival, which just so happens to be coming to Colorado. The bluegrass music festival is set for Labor Day weekend (August 31 to September 2), and it'll be right on the edge of Buena Vista. Three-day passes ($215) will go on sale on April 20 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased on the Seven Peaks Music Festival website. Camping passes will also go on sale at the same time. You can find out more information about that here. [caption id="attachment_35799" align="aligncenter" width="1024"]dierks bentley Courtesy of Greenroom PR[/caption]
Bentley is expected to perform each night of the festival, along with tremendous amounts of talented artists. The music lineup includes Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, Elle King, Lanco, the Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, the Cadillac Three, and so many more! He told Billboard, "It's all about the experience, and I'm a little competitive. I just want people to walk away feeling like there was so much thought put into each and every fan having the best experience of their life." Bentley also added that he's going to try to fulfill that promise, even if it means that he won't get a lot of downtime. "I don't plan on sleeping. I plan on either being onstage or in the campground, high-fiving people, handing out free beers."
