This "premier bayfront wine and food festival" is held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. This past April was their third annual event, and it seems like it's back by popular demand. It's held at Fager's Island Restaurant and Bar, an award-winning seafood restaurant that prides themselves on their delicious American and Pacific Rim cuisine.

I'm sure wine enthusiasts are happy to sip and taste wine during any time of the year, but it's nice that this festival is held at the start of fall. The slightly crisp air and cool ocean breeze will be the perfect backdrop to a nice, frosty glass of spiked cider, or large goblet of fine, white wine.

Ticket holders will be able to listen to "Pebble to Pearl," a band that "creates a unique blend of funk, rock, fierce and powerful blues fused and delivered with soulful grooves and incomparable vocals," according to their Facebook page.
