To kick off the spring, the NorVa is chasing away the winter with a vengeance. Head to the NorVa for a month of rock bands, punk rock, and hip-hop.

The NorVa in Norfolk is one of the area's most intimate performance venues. Audiences truly feel like they're a part of the show. With a variety of performers heading to the NorVa in March, there is a lot to see.

Jim Breuer | March 1

As part of his Live and Let Laugh Tour, Jim Breuer graces the stage at the NorVa to entertain audiences with his comedic storytelling. Often named one of the top comedians year after year, Breuer is sure to delight audiences with his lively performance.

G Herbo | March 5

As part of his PTSD Tour, G Herbo will bring his lyrical hip-hop stylings to the stage. With his start in working to bring a "voice to the voiceless," as he told NorVa, his work touches on various aspects of society today. Also performing with him is King Von, Lil Loaded, Shaun Sloan, and special guest Pretty Savage.

Koe Wetzel | March 6

Known for their blending of punk rock and bluegrass/country music, the unique stylings of Koe Wetzel are always a unique experience. With a lively performance sure to fill the space at the NorVa, this is sure to be a memorable night. Also performing with them is Read Southall.

Dead Kennedys | March 10

The hardcore punk rock band hails from San Francisco, California. With an illustrious career beginning in 1978, which has led to international tours and a huge following, Dead Kennedys are heading to the NorVa as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour, calling all fans to see them perform once again. Also performing with them is D.O.A.

Seeing Sounds | March 13

To bring R&B to the NorVa stage, Seeing Sounds will perform, featuring DJ Bee, DJ Rayvon, and Rico Santana and Friends.

Skillet | March 14

One of the best-selling rock bands of this century, Skillet will bring their energetic and unforgettable rock stylings to the NorVa. They are working to showcase their new album, Victorious. Also performing with them is From Ashes to New and Ledger.

The Revivalists | March 18

Celebrating their 10th anniversary, the New Orleans-based band will head to the NorVa to dazzle audiences and fans with their percussive and energetic sounds and rhythms. Known for their recent hit, "Wish I Knew You," The Revivalists are ready to get to know you at the NorVa. Also performing with them is Super Doppler.

Steve Aoki | March 24

Known for his EDM and hip-hop stylings, the world-renowned Steve Aoki heads to the NorVa. As part of his Neon Future IV: The Color of Noise Tour, some of the proceeds of this tour will go to benefit the Aoki Foundation, which conducts research on the brain to better learn how to heal it. Also performing with him is Deorro, ARMNHMR, Godlands, and Global Dan.

The Expendables | March 26

One of the most influential and creative reggae rock bands on the scene, The Expendables is known for pushing the limits of this genre to create something truly unique. Nearing their 20th anniversary, the band shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. So come jam away to the energetic rhythms of The Expendables. Also performing with them is Bumpin Uglies, Artikal Sound System, and Of Good Nature.

Dance Gavin Dance | March 31

Rounding out the month of March is Dance Gavin Dance. The rock band is always working to push the boundaries on this genre to create something new. They're often shifting in style and flair, but always remain true to their rock beginnings. Also performing with them is Animals as Leaders, ISSUES, Veil of Maya, and Royal Coda.
