Skyline Park is open for free skating and more, but only until February 14! So grab your family and friends and explore the heart of downtown Denver.

Looking for a fun and FREE activity to do with family and friends this weekend and next week? Well, look no further as you skate your way into Denver at the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park, courtesy of Southwest Airlines and Downtown Denver Partnership. Go ice skating, eat, and be merry, all while basking in the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Denver as you’ve never experienced before.

The rink is only open until Tuesday, February 14. Specific hours can be found on the Southwest Rink webpage

Now, you’re probably asking yourself, what do I need to bring and where can I store my personal belongings? Lockers are provided, but it's a first come, first served basis. Make sure you provide a valid ID and you’ll be set. It is highly suggested that you bring multiple pairs of socks and any winter clothing you may need since it can get cold on the ice, so plan accordingly!

Also, if you’re worried about packing along that old pair of ice skates you haven’t worn in over a decade, then don’t. Skate rentals are only $2 per pair, and if you have children 12 and under, skate rentals are free on Sunday.

Ice skating not your forte? There are plenty of tables and bench areas at your disposal, as well as various restaurants near the ice rink to visit and grab a hot drink or meal. Experience the magic of the season as you journey into the heart of downtown Denver. Also, as an added bonus, if you arrive at the Southwest Rink between now and February 14, you have the opportunity to enter the LUV Sweepstakes and win round trip airfare, courtesy of Southwest Airlines. Surprise your loved ones with the chance to travel anywhere in the United States that Southwest Airlines flies!
