Denver Parade of Homes partners with local shelters to find Coloradans their dream house and future pets.

The 2019 Denver Parade of Homes, an annual summer property showcase, will conclude this weekend on August 25 but not before ending things with a bang. Or a bark. Parade of Homes has partnered with local shelters and animal organizations for a two-day event, Paws on Parade, allowing parade-goers not only a chance to find their perfect house, but also a chance to adopt an adorable place for their possible new home.

Paws on Parade will start on August 24, with the Cat Care Society hosting an adoption event with Oakwood Homes in Aurora. On August 25, the Dumb Friends League will host an additional adoption event with Meritage Homes at Inspiration in Aurora.

Denver Parade of Homes presents people who are on the market for a new home with a variety of newly designed models and custom homes. They provide attendants with the opportunity to tour more than 75 homes located in neighborhoods in Metro Denver, Longmont, Castle Rock, Arvada, and Aurora. The summer showcase holds a wide range of new homes, from the no-maintenance townhomes to state-of-the-art high-end houses. The prices range from $200,000 to $2.45 million.
