The Everything Fried Chicken and Whiskey Festival is back and ready to kick off the summer.

It’s Thursday, May 23. You are on your couch about to watch The Office again because, well, it's The Office! (Hey, don’t pretend you don’t love Michael Scott.) You could reach for your regular popcorn OR you could get yourself to INDUSTRY in RiNo and kick off summer 2019 the correct way — by eating endless, delicious, mouth-watering chicken!

That’s right! The Everything Fried Chicken and Craft Cocktail Festival, aka Chicken Fight, is coming to Denver faster than the KFC Colonel can say, "American Country Cooking."

When: Thursday, May 23
Where: INDUSTRY in RiNo

The top Mile High restaurants will be in attendance to cater to all of your fowl needs – more than 40 restaurants will have unlimited amounts for you to eat, and there is some serious competition here. Categories include Best Fried, Best Wings, Best Overall Chicken Dish, and Best Cocktail. Restaurants and breweries alike will offer their best for your valuable votes.

Stoney’s Bar and Grill, Sarto’s, Lucky Bird, and Nuggs will also be there serving their egg-cellent dishes.

Entry Free gets you access to all the chicken your soul desires, demos, live music by Buckstein, and fun surprises. VIP tickets get you to private bars and early access before general admission, as well as free Korbel California Champagne, extra tastings, whiskeys, and a separate voting category for Best Creative Dish in the VIP section, Bird & Bubbles.

To receive 15 percent off, use code OCN! Purchase tickets here.

This is a 21+ event, so don’t forget your ID! Of course, if you are the designated driver of your group (or if you had a little too much to drink), water stations will be clearly marked around the festival.

Parking will be limited so instead of driving, take public transportation, Uber, or Lyft! There is parking information available on the website with an address for a pick-up and drop-off zone.

Need more reasons to go? Dining Out Denver is working hand-in-hand with ZeroHero to make Chicken Fight Festival among the most environmentally friendly in Colorado. There will be recycling and composting, like most festivals, but they plan to donate all of the leftovers to their friends next door: The Salvation Army.

So, what are you waiting for? Are you gonna head to Chicken Fight? Or are you too chicken?
