RKY MNT WALLS will feature stunning street art from some of Denver's favorite muralists.

Granby is known as a quiet mountain town with close proximity to Grand County's endless mountains and spectacular skiing, but it's about to get an artistic boost as well. The RKY MNT WALLS Experience, which starts today, June 19, will fill the streets of Granby with a new world of shapes and colors created by some of Denver's most well-known muralists.

The ultimate goal is to create permanent murals that will connect Denver's already stellar art community to the mountains.

This mega mural festival is a first for Grand County, and it's definitely going to leave a lasting impression that will hopefully turn RKY MNT WALLS into a time-honored tradition. Watch live as the streets of Granby are radically transformed with live paintings from some of the most talented street artists in the country, all of whom have made a visible difference in Denver's urban landscape. Each day will start bright and early at 10 a.m. for live paintings followed by tons of activities, like a Kick Off Party on Thursday to a wine tasting event brought to you by 5280 Magazine.

Some of the artists who will be featured include Jaime Molina and Pedro Barrios, Taste, Anthony Garcia Sr., and Sandra Fettingis. View the full list of featured artists here. The fun goes until June 26, so you have plenty of time to soak up all the amazing new art that will be on display.
