Harry Potter fans, rejoice! This charming Maryland town is creating an immersive experience just for you! Don your best magical attire for "Wizarding Weekend," a street fair devoted to some of your favorite movies and characters. Buy yourselves some chocolate frogs, find your perfect wand, and don't forget to stop for a butter beer! Other highlights of the weekend include the costume contests on Saturday and the scavenger hunt that will take you all through town.
The businesses and restaurants of Ellicott City will all be catering to the costumed crowd. Sweet Suds will have a Golden Snitch bath bomb, so make sure you get one! A portion of the proceeds from this event and themed items for sale will go to benefit the National Federation of the Blind. What's better than shopping for a good cause?

What to Expect
You'll spend the day going from shop to shop, indulging in treats and having fun with Hogwarts-worthy activities. Make magical potions, create your own Sorcerer's Stone, and have a great time with all of your fellow wizards.
Hagrid would be thrilled at his namesake pizza, created just for this weekend by Manor Hill Tavern. It's topped with beer cheese, steak, purple tortilla chips, and more. Yum!

Harry and Ron would love the sweets and treats on offer for this special event. Sweet Cascades Chocolatier will have chocolate frogs, sipping chocolate, butterbeer, and other mystical confections.

Head to Gamers Corps and see if you can find Dobby to win a special prize! They are transforming their shop into the ultimate source for magical school supplies. You won't find better wands anywhere in the DMV! Don't worry if you don't have your favorite house colors; you can buy your robe and tie when you get there.
