Easter is almost here, which means it's egg-hunting time! Springtime festivities may look different during the pandemic, but many places across the DMV are hosting hippity-hoppity fun in the form of Easter egg hunts, hayrides, and visits with Peter Cottontail. Here are 8 egg-cellent Easter egg hunts for 2021 you won't want to miss!

Washington, DC

Drive-Thru Eggstravaganza 2021 | National Community Church | Washington, DC

Saturday, April 3 | 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This Easter, National Community Church is bringing the egg hunt to you! Get the supplies you need for a fun Easter activity you can do at home safely! Kits can be picked up from two designated spots in DC and NoVa. You can register for a time slot on the church's website.

Egg Hunt and Marshmallow Harvest | Great Country Farms | Bluemont, VA

Friday, March 26 to Saturday, April 3 | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At Great Country Farms, a springtime jubilee awaits! Hop on over to hunt treat-filled eggs, visit the farm animals, and go on a hayride. Plus, enjoy Marshmallow PEEPs roasting on an open fire (yum!)! A boozy Easter egg hunt? Yes, please! Sip local brews and hunt thousands of treat-filled eggs, with surprises ranging from candy to raffle prizes. Raffle winners will be announced on March 29 on Facebook! Admission is $29 and includes a complimentary drink and egg basket. Hunts will be held in timed sessions. Egg-stravaganza! | Sky Meadows State Park | Delaplane, VA

Saturday, April 3 | 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Trek through the 1,860-acre park for an Easter spectacular! Go on a geocache egg adventure, learn about the park's bluebirds, meet free-range chickens on the Chicken Walk (they also lay eggs!), and so much more. A must for nature-lovers! Easter Egg Hunts | Green Meadows Petting Farm | Ijamsville, MD

Make the trip to Green Meadows Petting Farm for an all-ages Easter bash! Kids can collect eggs in timed hunts and partake in fun on the farm: hayrides, pig races, animal cuddling, and so much more. The Hoppening Outdoor Easter Egg Hunt | Historic Savage Mill | Savage, MD

Saturday, April 3 | 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For kids 10 and under. Hop for eggs throughout the shopping complex's courtyard and visit the Easter Bunny in person. Egg hunts are held between 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 and include a free basket!
