Harvest Week, under normal circumstances, is full of friends, food, and fun as we celebrate the harvest as a community. This year, the celebration will be a mix of in-person and online events.

Denver Harvest Week started on September 23 and will continue until October 4. Fifty Front Range restaurants will be offering special menu items that are inspired by Colorado farmers and producers. Both food and drink menu items will be available for dine-in or takeout, depending on the restaurant. A portion of proceeds from every sale will go to benefit a local food charity.

Check the event Facebook page for the most recent postings and information about making reservations and ordering online.

Participating locations, thus far:

Harvest Week is sponsored by EatDenver and The GrowHaus. EatDenver is a nonprofit independent restaurant network that aims to strengthen the Denver area independent restaurant community. The GrowHaus is a nonprofit based in the Elyria-Swansea and Globeville neighborhoods, which works to provide food and educational resources.

This is a great way to try new dishes and support the local folks who work so hard to grow such delicious Colorado produce. What is your favorite eatery to get locally sourced ingredients? What restaurants will you be trying for Harvest Week? Sound off in the comments.
