Winterfest of Lights has been a local favorite for 27 years, and it's not hard to see why. Visitors can explore a 58-acre wonderland of brightly-lit scenes like Santa's Workshop and The Wizard of Oz. Organizers have extended the hours through midnight, so you'll have plenty of time to soak in the sights, including their massive 50-foot Christmas tree. Make sure to have hot chocolate on hand—gotta stay cozy!
Throughout the night, DJ KUTT will bring the beats with a fist-pumping set, and visitors can score big from exclusive giveaways. Once the clock strikes midnight, a jubilant firework show will stream across the sky. Just add in family and friends, and you've got a spectacular way to ring in the year 2020!
Winterfest of Lights will be open from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. Admission is $5 per person and free for children 11 and younger. For transportation, guests can park at Northside Park along 125th and 127th streets. You can find out more about the city's transportation options here.
