Catch wild Pokémon at The PokéBar, coming to Denver on September 29!

Add another theme bar to the list of Denver pop-ups. In September, adults (under 21's must be accompanied by an adult) can don their best costume, dine on Pokémon-inspired burgers, down a few themed cocktails, and dash through a series of interactive games, all in the quest for some fun!

The highlights of the event are the IRL nods to the original Pokémon video game that has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to Pokémon GO.

"Ever wanted to catch a Charmander or a Jigglypuff? This is your chance! Play a real-life version of the popular monster-catching game. It will be divided into seven regions and each session will include two hours of hunting, battling and catching time! There will be trivia, card battles, action stations, giant interactive games, all to win points and evolve your pokemon. The team with the highest evolved pokemon will be the winners and receive prizes," says the event website.

In addition, DJs will be on the scene spinning tunes the whole night, and revelers are encouraged to dress in their finest Pokemon regalia, which could win them prizes. So, be sure to dress to impress! Mini prizes will also be given out throughout the evening, as well.

Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are on sale now, and run $45 per person. Admittance is first-come, first-served, and tickets are limited, so it's best to get your ticket early to get in on the action. Each ticket provides a two-hour window of play, a Pokémon-inspired burger (the buns look like characters), and a themed drink. Vegetarian options are available, and those that purchase non-alcoholic beverages get a free drink. The two-hour blocks are pre-set to manage crowds and ensure the experience is fun for everyone.
