The popular fundraiser returns to the National Zoo with a prehistoric twist!

"Brew at the Zoo" is back – and this time, visitors will step back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth!

The National Zoo's annual fundraiser supports wildlife conservation and brings summer fun to the DMV with food, drinks, and a variety of entertainment. Did we mention there will be dinosaurs on the premises? Be sure to snap a photo just in case people don't believe you!

With over 70 different breweries and D.C.-area restaurants, it's a foodie experience you won't want to miss. Sample brews from Flying Dog and D.C. Brau or tart selections from Bold Rock Cider. Grab a bite from a diverse range of food trucks and bop along to live music by Bobby McKey's Dueling Piano Bar and The Shrapnels. It'll be a good time for all and raise funds for species conservation in the process!

General admission is $50 for FONZ (Friends of the National Zoo) members and $65 for non-members. Ticket-holders receive unlimited tastings, access to games, and a commemorative event mug.

VIP tickets are $110 for members and $125 for non-members. Along with general admission perks, VIP ticket-holders get early admission, special food and drink, and exclusive entry into the Great Cats VIP area. Guests can also view tigers and lions – worth the price of admission alone if you ask us!

Since this is a drinking event, public transit is encouraged. Guests can take the Metro Red Line to Woodley Park-Zoo Station or hop onto a Big Bus Tour bus for a free ride to the zoo. You can find more information here.
