Here in Washington, D.C., we love a good happy hour! We'll sip our half-priced drinks on patios, gardens, rooftops ... pretty much anywhere, right? But what about a boat?
If you’ve never done happy hour on a boat before, you simply must check out the "Happy Hour on the Harbor" event on Saturday, August 11.
After all, it’s important that you get yourself on a boat ride before the summer ends anyway, and what better ride is there than one with a discounted cocktail in your hand? The Happy Hour on the Harbor will be stocked with a selection of beer, wine, and a full bar ready and waiting for your specialty cocktail requests, as well as snacks. There will also be music and a friendly crew available to answer any questions and ensure your safety.

A ticket for this event will cost you $40 per person, and you’ll meet the boat in the Washington Marina, at 1300 Maine Avenue SW, Washington, D.C., 20024. The happy hour will last from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., but make sure you arrive 15 minutes prior to boarding to ensure you get checked in and actually board the boat on time!
