For its third year in a row, the Susquehanna Lock House Museum will host an afternoon of tastings and live jazz music to benefit the restoration of the Havre de Grace Colored School Building into a museum. All the proceeds from the event will go to preservation efforts, so come support a great cause and savor some quality libations!
Kick back and relax to live jazz performed along the Susquehanna River -- last year's attendees enjoyed the talented ensembles Chandra and the Ryze Band and Straight Up Jazz Band. Don't forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair for maximum relaxation and a lovely view of the water.
There will be a variety of drink vendors from the Maryland region showcasing wine, beer, and spirits. Sample selections from Great Shoals Winery, Twin Valley Distillers, Slate Farm Brewery, Cove Point Winery, and others. This buzz-worthy event will also have delicious local food and artisans, and vendors will have bottles available for purchase.
Advanced tickets cost $35 and include a souvenir drink glass, unlimited tastings, and free parking. Designated driver tickets will be available for $15. All ticket sales are final. You can buy them here.
The Arts, Wine, & Jazz Festival will take place Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 2-7 p.m. at the Havre de Grace Lock House Museum. The event is 21+ and will happen rain or shine.
