If big crowds aren't your thing, consider buying a $20 ticket to the Friday Preview Event for VIPs. This includes a silent auction, giveaways, and specialty cocktails not available on regular market days. You will also get to browse and shop in a more intimate environment, and the artisans will be on hand to answer your questions.
The arts and crafts vendors are all local, with regionally-inspired goods and handmade creations. You'll find everything from jewelry to artwork, ceramics and food products in an extensive network of tented stalls.
Don't worry about going hungry—local restaurants will be serving authentic German food like sausages and pretzels. Make sure you get a cup of the mulled wine! Vendors will also be selling traditional baked goods for your holiday table, so load up and spend a little less time in the kitchen this year.
