The Polar Express

Where: Colorado Railroad Museum

A Hudson Christmas

Where: Hudson Gardens and Event Center

See a winter wonderland of outdoor lights at Hudson Gardens. You can even get a photo in Santa’s sleigh while sipping hot cider or cocoa. 

Blossoms of Light

When: Nov. 23 – Jan. 1
Where: Denver Botanic Gardens 

See the extravagant annual holiday light show at Denver Botanic Gardens, which features an interactive light display and entertainment on select evenings. 

Holiday Flea

When: Nov. 23 – Dec. 1
Where: Denver Union Station

Kick off your holiday shopping at this flea market. Tickets are just $5 per weekend and allow for re-entry. 

A Christmas Carol

When: Nov. 23 – Dec. 24
Where: Stage Theatre

See this musical interpretation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel come to life on stage. 

The Nutcracker

When: Nov. 24 – Dec. 24
Where: Ellie Caulkins Opera House

9News Parade of Lights

When: Nov. 30 – Dec. 1
Where: 16th Street Mall

This free event stretches down two miles and features marching bands, floats, and special appearances by Santa and other guests.

Where: Water World

Drive through this spectacular lights festival synchronized to holiday music on your radio at Water World. 

Zoo Lights

When: Nov. 30 – Dec. 5
Where: Denver Zoo

Back for its 28th year, this lights festival typically sells out on most nights. The light show covers 60 acres and features animated animal sculptures, animal encounters, and entertainment. 

Saturday, December 1

Mile High Soul Club

When: Dec. 1
Where: Syntax Physic Opera

DJ’s spin classic soul, Motown, and funk records at this monthly dance party. 

Denver Art Museum Free First Saturday

When: Dec. 1
Where: Denver Art Museum

Enjoy free admission on the first Saturday of every month at the Denver Art Museum. 

Boozy Bazaar

When: Dec. 1
Where: Rising Sun Distillery

Come shop locally, from spirits to stained glass, while sipping on a cocktail at Rising Sun Distillery. All products are made by local artisans. 

Punk Rock and Paintbrushes

Where: Fice Gallery

This free event will feature the artwork of several punk rock musicians along with a cocktail bar, photo booth, music from guest DJs, and more! Space is limited.

Movie & Martinis: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Watch this holiday classic and have a drink or two! With the purchase of a ticket, you'll receive your choice of two holiday-themed cocktails, a Griswald Christmas dinner, gourmet movie popcorn, and the movie screening.
