Blessing of the Bikes | Washington National Cathedral | Friday

As part of Rolling Thunder, join community members for a meaningful service in honor of missing service men and women. Visitors can enjoy light refreshments and a moving service conducted by cathedral clergy and Rolling Thunder members. Memorial Day Choral Festival | Kennedy Center | Sunday

Choral groups from across the country will gather at the Kennedy Center to commemorate the Memorial Day holiday by celebrating America's veterans and their families. Featuring the United States Air Force Orchestra, this moving performance can't be beat. Passion Pit | The Anthem | Saturday

It's been 10 years since Passion Pit released their debut album Manners, and the indie-dance group is treating DMV fans with a stop at The Anthem. Dance your heart out and sing along to all your favorites! Tickets are $40-$119. Order them here!

National Memorial Day Parade | Constitution Avenue, National Mall | Monday

The 15th annual Memorial Day Parade is back in D.C.! Congregate along Constitution Avenue and watch the parade procession, featuring floats, youth bands, and appearances by stars Kiefer Sutherland, Justin Moore, and others! National Memorial Day Concert | West Lawn of U.S. Capitol, Capitol Hill | Sunday

Come experience a night of remembrance for veterans and their families at the nation's capital. Televised on PBS, this stirring concert has become a beloved American tradition witnessed by viewers across the country. Special guests include General Colin L. Wellspring in White: A Brunch Experience | Wellspring Manor & Spa, Upper Marlboro | Sunday

Delfest | Allegany County Fairgrounds, Cumberland | Multi-day

Started in 2008 by bluegrass legend Del McCoury, experience a lineup of world-class artists throughout the holiday weekend in the breathtaking Appalachian Mountains. Hometown Holidays Musicfest | Rockville Town Square | Saturday-Monday

Four different stages will host a diverse lineup of artists ranging from bluegrass to reggae, and the nearby Taste of Rockville will have local vendors serving up delicious cuisine. M&T Bank Presents Brew at the Zoo | Maryland Zoo, Baltimore | Saturday-Sunday

Run to Remember Memorial Day 5K | WinterPlace Park, Salisbury | Saturday

Commemorate military veterans with a 5K at WinterPlace Park. This run includes the new addition of the untimed one-mile fun walk. Runners and walkers alike are welcome to participate! Flags In | Arlington National Cemetery | Multi-day

Pay your respects this Memorial Day weekend with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Come see the flags placed at over 228,000 gravesites, a tradition completed by The Old Guard since 1948. Star-Spangled Salute Presented by the Reston Chorale | Reston Town Center | Saturday

What better way to celebrate Memorial Day than with music? Catch a free concert at Reston Town Center featuring the Reston Chorale joined by Brass of the Potomac. Please Touch Tour | Sully Historic Site, Chantilly | Friday-Sunday

21st Annual Ride of the Patriots to Rolling Thunder | Patriot Harley-Davidson, Fairfax | Sunday

The annual event honoring military veterans and missing service members is revving its engines once again for Memorial Day weekend. Starting at Fairfax Boulevard, the event will begin with a parade and opening ceremony before thousands of motorcycles ride all the way to the Pentagon. 2019's event will sadly be their last in D.C. – you won't want to miss out!
