It’s shaping up to be a love-filled weekend in the mountains.

Love is in the air in Summit County, and it’s not just the lack of oxygen. This coming Presidents’ Day three-day weekend is riding on the heels of Valentine’s Day and the snow gods bestowing fresh snow over the mountains the next several days.

Let’s embrace Valentine’s Day not just for romantic love, but self-love, friend and family love, favorite ski buddy love, or just show some love to every kind of love because we could all use a little more. Here are a few non-candlelit dinner events and out-of-the-box activities to help you celebrate all kinds of love this Valentine's Day.

Colorado Love Concert
When: Thursday, February 14
Where: 10 Mile Music Hall, Frisco

With music is always on the schedule in Summit County, a show to not miss is Colorado Love Concert at Frisco’s 10 Mile Music Hall. Hosted by Colorado-based World Music Development, this concert has a super solid lineup of musicians -- featuring members of the Thievery Corporation, John Brown’s Band, Pimps of Joytime, Odesza, Michal Menert, and Analog Son with special guests Split Window and Zuma Road. Better yet, 10 percent of ticket sales benefit the Summit Musicians Relief Fund, a non-profit organization that provides support to local musicians tackling major medical issues.

Advance tickets $25, $30 at the door.

Where: Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, Breckenridge, CO

It’s closing weekend at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre performance of Almost, Maine. This play follows love’s ups and downs as residents and visitors of Almost meet, part, and fall in and out of love.

Tickets $25 - $35.

Wine Blending Class
When: Thursday, February 14 (other dates available too)
Where: Continental Divide Winery, Breckenridge, CO

Valentine’s can’t go by without a little wine, and it’s time to up your wine game. The Continental Divide Winery is offering wine-blending sessions and one just so happens to fall on Valentine’s Day. Taste, blend, bottle, cork, and label your own custom wine! Reservations are required.

$75 includes a bottle of custom crafted wine.

Valentine's Comedy Show with Comedian Tom Papa
When: Thursday, February 14
Where: Silverthorne Town Pavilion

The Town of Silverthorne brings in some comedic relief for us all with stand-up comedian, Tom Papa. His impressive resume includes regular appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Conan, a stand-up special on Amazon and Hulu, and hit podcast and radio shows that have featured comedic icons such as Mel Brooks, Ray Romano, Carl Reiner, and Jerry Seinfeld.

BreckCreates: Silly Love Songs/Songwriting Class
When: Friday, February 15
Where: Gallery@OMH, Breckenridge, CO

Open to both singles and couples, this class guides you through the love language of songwriting. Gain inspiration and insight at taking a closer look at how love songs are written before trying your own with an option at the end of class to record your own song. How cool is that? A bonus -- class price includes one drink of beer or wine. Must be 21.
