Want to be on Wheel of Fortune? If you live in Richmond, here's your chance.

The Wheel of Fortune "Wheelmobile" is rolling into Richmond this weekend, and it's on the hunt to sweep up new contestants.

If you're down to take your chances (and want to be on your grandparents' favorite show), bring your best trivia skills to Stony Point Fashion Park's Triangle Park at 9200 Stony Point Parkway this Saturday and Sunday any time between 1 and 5 p.m.

The Wheelmobile, a 36-foot Winnebago emblazoned with the show's name, is making a pit stop on its nationwide tour to look for contestants right here in RVA.

Contestant hopefuls are invited to visit Triangle Park October 27 or 28 and fill out an application to compete.

Applicant names will be drawn at random, with selected visitors invited to play a demo version of Wheel of Fortune. These contestant hopefuls will be evaluated based on their performance in a demo simulation of the game show, with standout performers getting their chance to potentially star in the show's upcoming season.

Three audition shows will take place each day in which lucky applicants are invited to compete if their name gets drawn. Demo game shows for participants to compete will begin at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m, and 4 p.m., with each show lasting approximately an hour.

Applications will be handed out one hour before each show starts. Everyone will get the chance to apply, but event organizers encourage attendees not to arrive hours in advance, as arrival order does not guarantee an audition slot to compete. Audition competitors will be chosen by random draw, at which point they will be invited to the audition stage to compete.

Even if your name doesn't get chosen and you miss your chance to compete, the audition shows are free and open to the public, so if you just want to watch Richmond residents compete in a live game of Wheel of Fortune, you won't waste your time showing up.

"Wheel of Fortune is looking for energetic, enthusiastic and fun contestants, so just be yourself and have a good time as you’re playing to win," event organizers said in the Facebook event description for Richmond Wheelmobile auditions at Stony Point Park. "This is a FREE event and is open to the public. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, but is great fun for folks of all ages to watch."

“Every year, Wheel of Fortune receives over 1 million inquiries from viewers who want to be contestants,” said Wheel of Fortune executive producer Harry Friedman in a statement. “The Wheelmobile was created to give people all over the country an opportunity to realize that dream.”

Participants must be 18 years or older. More details can be found on the Wheel of Fortune website or the Facebook event page.

According to show organizers, most contestants that appear on Wheel of Fortune are found at these events. Wheelmobile auditions typically attract 2,000 to 3,000 people throughout the day, with just a few moving on to appear on the show.

Could one of them be you?
