If staying at home on New Year's Eve isn't quite exciting enough for you, bundle up and catch some live fireworks this year. Celebrate with your friends and neighbors at any of these free events.
Annapolis New Year's Eve Celebration

This annual extravaganza starts with kid-friendly games and activities, including face-painting and an obstacle course, at 3:00 p.m. Live music and dancing starts at 8 p.m. and goes on until 11:30 p.m. when attention turns to the skies for the fireworks.
New Year's Eve Spectacular in Baltimore

Live music will play throughout the Inner Harbor as visitors gather for the midnight fireworks. Dance the night away with local legends, Rufus Roundtree and Da B'More Brass Factory!
New Year's Eve in Ocean City

This is the perfect time to see the beautiful Winterfest of Lights if you haven't already. Marvel at the Christmas light display, sip hot chocolate, and enjoy the music as a DJ keeps the crowd entertained. Fireworks go off right at midnight in OC.
All three of the fireworks displays listed are accessible by public transportation. Check your local bus and train schedules for special New Year's extended hours. If you're driving in to see them, refer to street parking signs for holiday regulations.
