Flow with the fishes, chill with animals, and learn in the lounge at these adult-only events.

Denver has some awesome attractions that are great for the whole family. But what if you want to ditch the kids and enjoy them with fellow grownups (or close to it)? We’ve got you covered with a list of the cool events that nourish both your body and brain.

Yoga with the Sharks

The Downtown Aquarium wants you to flow with the fishes. A perfect way to give your body and senses a workout, this fun event is often Saturdays at 8 a.m., before the aquarium opens. Bring your mat and some water and zen out with the swimming sharks.

This event is extremely popular, and it appears tickets are sold out until the November dates, so get yours early!

The Denver Zoo wants you to explore maternal instincts, courtship and breeding, hunting, and more at this adult-only event! Women in conservation will be highlighted, and there is a cash bar and light appetizers provided. This is the last Watering Hole event of the year, but keep your eyes peeled for events starting in 2019!

After Hours and Science Lounge

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science gets that adults need to feel like kids, too. That's why they offer a whole host of events that are entirely geared toward 21 and older. Two specific happenings allow you to hang out in the museum after everyone else has vacated the premises (Night at the Museum montage, anyone?).

After Hours is a series of evening programs that allow you to learn about new ideas, cutting-edge science and interesting people, complete with a cash bar. Events like game nights, movies, lectures, and more will expand your mind. Check out all the upcoming events here.

Don't miss the Tattoo You Science Lounge at the museum! Courtesy of www.dmns.org.

Science Lounge is an interactive evening of pure awesomeness! From chocolate to zombie apocalypse, and everything in between, the museum helps you to dive into the world of science with a twist (and an adult beverage). Get involved with experiments, solve crimes and generally immerse yourself in the workings of the world.
