We all float down here.

Remember those good ol’ times when clowns flooded the streets and went to clowns-only screenings for the horror movie It (2017)? We do. And so does Alamo Drafthouse.

Well, get ready for your nightmares to come to life once again. Alamo Drafthouse has just announced that they will be hosting the clowns-only event in honor of the upcoming sequel, It: Chapter Two, which is set to be released in theaters on September 5. What started out as a good joke has turned into a nationwide phenomenon.

So what does a clowns-only screening mean? Do all of the terrifying clowns come in with their big, carn-evil weapons? Yes and no. It just means to please come dressed up as a clown!

"Wig, makeup, oversized pants and suspenders, blood-curdling makeup. Then you’ll watch the chilling conclusion to the biggest horror duology ever made with a theater full of fellow... clowns," says Alamo Drafthouse.

You can dress up as a clown yourself, or you can ruin friendships by bringing your favorite coulrophobia friend along with you ...

The only Alamo Drafthouse in Colorado that will be hosting this terrifying event is the Westminster location—8905 Westminster Blvd. The screening will be held on Saturday, September 7, at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for the comically-terrifying event and you can purchase them online here.

Alamo's other two Colorado locations (Littleton and Sloan's Lake) will NOT be hosting this clowns-only event. You can view the full list of locations nationwide here.

This isn't the first clowns-event in the Colorado area. Last year, Hurt's Donuts in Colorado Springs did a clown delivery service for Halloween. We don't know if the donut shop will be reviving this service again this year, and honestly, we don't know if we want to find out ...
