Bridesmaids celebrates its 10th anniversary in theaters for three days!

It feels like only yesterday that Bridesmaids landed in theaters back in 2011. Ten years later, the raunchy comedy is returning to the big screen once again!

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Bridesmaids will be in theaters for a limited time. The R-rated flick starring Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph will be screening at select theaters nationwide for three days:

  • Sunday, June 6
  • Wednesday, June 9
  • Thursday, June 10

Courtesy of Fathom Events, the special showings will feature a hilarious gag reel and a surprise bonus feature, so movie-goers will want to stay in their seats!

Per the film's synopsis, "Thirty-something Annie (Kristen Wiig) has hit a rough patch but finds her life turned completely upside down when she takes on the Maid of Honor role in her best friend Lillian's (Maya Rudolph) wedding. In way over her head but determined to succeed, Annie leads a hilarious hodgepodge of bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to the big event."

Directed by Paul Feig, the movie made over $288 million at the box office and garnered multiple Academy Award nominations, including Melissa McCarthy for Best Supporting Actress. With its star-studded cast and gross-out humor, it remains a pop culture phenomenon.

But Bridesmaids isn't the only fan-favorite returning to the big screen. Upcoming events include anniversary screenings of Jerry Maguire and The Bird Cage and the Best Picture-winning musical My Fair Lady, with many more included under the Turner Classic Movies Big Screen Classics series.

Tickets can be purchased at your local theater box office or through Fathom Event's website. There's nothing like seeing a movie on the silver screen, and if you missed it the first time around, now's your chance! Find your nearest theater here.
